Zachary Shade

Zachary is originally from the town of Phippsburg, Maine. Interested in electronics for as long as he can remember, Zachary gained most of his knowledge from hands-on experience as an information technology consultant and currently holds various certifications from Microsoft, COMPTIA, Google, and Amazon. 

After providing IT services to the oil and gas industry for some time, Zachary was presented with the unique opportunity to join the law firm of Stewart J. Guss in 2018. He discovered he had a similar consulting background with our technology manager Sean, which made working together a breeze. The rest is history!

In his current role, Zachary enjoys the chance to “support good people supporting good people.” His daily responsibilities ensure every SJG team member has the ability to provide the best quality of service possible to those in need.

Family is dear to Zachary, as he loves hiking and traveling with his wife Jennifer, his daughters Madison and Zoe, and their two black labs Odin and Shadow.

What did you think you were going to be when growing up? “I wanted to be a dad. Mission accomplished!”

What is your go-to comfort food?  “Pho.”

What is your favorite TV show or movie? “TV: Band of Brothers. Movie: Star Wars Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.”

What is your favorite thing to do on the weekends? “I love spending time with my girls. Our top three things would have to be swimming, playing board games, and going to the local skate park. I also paint historical miniatures.”

If you could know more about one thing, what would it be? “World History in general. I love learning about everyone’s past.”
